Nong Kiau -

This village is situated in Luang Prabang district and famous for climbing, walking, and biking and mountain climbing opportunities. A necessary place to watch is the bridge which is made across the Nam Ou River. From this place you can see some fantastic views of river and mountain. As this is a village, you cannot expect luxurious hotels. You can enjoy the Pha Tok caves that are located a little away from this village. It is the largest city in North West Laos. This place is famous for backpackers who come here from China. From here you can start trekking to hills. Si Phan Don -

 This place is a collection of four thousand islands. All the islands are very beautiful. The islands stand against the Mekong River in south Laos. The three main islands are Don Det, Don Kong and Don Khon. There are many small family bungalows to accommodate the tourists.
